     She eyed the woman cautiously, though she didn’t appear to be a threat. Those who meant ill will usually let off a certain vibe. Fingers laced at her waist and Jessamine straightened, clearing her throat curtly.

            “Speaking of, how did you
             get past them and into my
             gardens?”

     Reply is calm, as if speaking of such mundane things like weather, or the price of bread. There is but not a shred of worry; not in one’s tone, nor in optics. Instead of fretting over the statement, hands whisks locks of brown from obscuring visage with a light huff. 

     With next question, lips painted sleek red purse into a frown.

               ❝It was rather simple. I just walked by. One does not have very good guards.❞

     Okay, perhaps the assassin didn’t simply ‘walk’, but she certainly didn’t climb the rooftops. But all she had to do was stand by and wait just out of sight until the guard at the stairs pined after a wandering servant, and then slip by silently. Simple.
